What we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

This policy explains what personal data Boot Media Notes collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.
1. Who is responsible
The controller of any personal data processed through this website is the operator of Boot Media Notes. For any question about this policy, to exercise a right described below, or to request the operator's registration details, write to privacy@bootmedianotes.com. We answer data requests from this address and can supply formal publisher details to a supervisory authority or other lawful requester on request.
2. What we collect
2.1 Information you give us
If you write to us, we receive your email address, your name if you supply it, and the content of your message. We use it to answer you and for nothing else.
2.2 Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard server logs: IP address, date and time, page requested, referring page, browser and operating system version. These logs exist to keep the site running and secure, and are retained for a limited period before deletion.
2.3 Cookies and similar technologies
Strictly necessary storage is used to keep the site working and to remember your cookie choice. Everything else — measurement and advertising — is loaded only after you consent to that category. The Cookie Policy lists the categories in detail.

4. Advertising
This site may display advertising supplied by third-party networks, including Google. Where you have consented to the advertising category, those partners may set and read cookies or similar identifiers in order to measure campaigns and, where applicable, to show advertising relevant to you on this and other sites. Consent signals are transmitted to those partners, so a refusal is respected by them and not only by us.
Google's use of advertising cookies is described in Google's own policies. Independently of the choices you make here, you can review and change your Google advertising settings at adssettings.google.com, and opt out of personalised advertising from many providers at youronlinechoices.eu or optout.aboutads.info. We give these as addresses rather than links because this site carries no outbound links; type or paste them into your browser.
5. Who receives your data
- Hosting provider. Operates the servers and produces the logs described above.
- Measurement provider. Only if you consent to the measurement category.
- Advertising partners. Only if you consent to the advertising category.
- Authorities. Only where we are legally required to disclose.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising outside the consent framework described here.
6. International transfers
Some providers process data outside your country. Where that happens and the destination has not been recognised as offering equivalent protection, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or another mechanism permitted by applicable law. Details are available on request.
7. How long we keep it

8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that already took place. Residents of California and other US states with comparable laws may have the right to know what is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell personal data.
To exercise any right, write to privacy@bootmedianotes.com. We respond within the period the applicable law allows, normally one month. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
9. Children
This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to correspondence is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise; we do commit to notifying affected users and the relevant authority where a breach requires it.
11. No outbound links or embedded third parties
This site carries no links to external websites and embeds nothing from them: no fonts, no image services, no video players, no social widgets, no comment systems. Loading a page therefore contacts our host and nothing else, unless you have consented to a measurement or advertising category.
12. Changes to this policy
When this policy changes materially we update the date above and, where the change affects consent, ask for your choices again. The current version is always the one published here.
